What We Stand For
There has been a decline in family values as media, television, public schooling, and other outside forces seek to destroy the importance of family and the foundation it’s built on. Many times our families’ are neglected right in our own living room or struggle through family issues hard to understand and overcome.
The goal of Family Builders is to build, strengthen, and educate families with Biblical values for the body of Yahshua using practical and easy-to-understand presentations. The presentations directly address major issues our families face and works to unify families for generations to come.
History
Family Builders Conference (FBC) began in 2012 when 4 men, over breakfast, wanted to start an event that focused on the needs of families. So many congregations do an excellent job focusing on restoring Biblical truth. However, they saw too many people burdened with family issues, struggling to build solid relationships in their families. Especially with marriages.
From 2012 – 2014 the conference was held in Rocheport, MO at Yahweh’s Assembly In Messiah. In 2015 it moved to Shalom Assembly of Yahweh in Sterling, IL. Between 2016 and 2017 the Conference was held in two locations, Shalom Assembly of Yahweh in May and Assembly of Yahweh 7th Day in December. Each year the FBC committee invites speakers and prepares messages to discuss the current trends in our society affecting our families today. Additionally, a different theme is chosen for each year.
Reach for Yahweh International Ministries (reachforyahweh.org) is the primary sponsor for the conference each year unless it’s hosted by Assembly of Yahweh 7th Day in Cisco, TX who takes on the expenses when hosting.
